As a new patient, I had some issues and never was able to see Dr. Scanlon on that visit. Upon arrival I checked in at the desk. 10 minutes later I was called back to the desk and told I did not have an appointment. I told them that the referring doctor had made the appointment. The receptionist kept nodding her head no and someone behind her yelled out he was running late. As the receptionist kept looking at her computer, she finally asked me my full name. Someone had entered my middle name as my last name. I was encouraged to sit back down and wait. 10 minutes later I was called up to the front desk again. I was told that Dr. Scanlon had been called back into surgery, and I would need to reschedule my appointment. We set it up for next week. Yesterday I received a call from someone in the office saying I needed to make another appointment. I returned the call and was directed to the wrong office. She pulled up my record and could see I had an appointment already. She then redirected me to the correct person who also pulled up my information and could see I had an appointment. She told me she had been given a list with my name on it and told to call to set up an appointment. Today I received this survey - I haven’t even seen the doctor yet. I do not know Dr. Scanlon, but he was recommended to me by my oncologist with whom I have great faith and a good friend who formerly worked in this office. I do hope to see him and proceed with my surgery. It does concern me that the front office, who are the first faces you see as a patient, seems to be so disorganized. Thank you!

Dr. Patterson was called into emergency surgery and I did not get to see him. I saw his nurse practitioner whom I was glad to meet. I was very tired by the time she got into see me. Filling out all the paper work takes too much time. I did try to do it online and every time I had to look for a phone no or other medical info my phone would close down and I had to start over again. It took me a good portion of my day only to have it shut down again. I finally gave up. There was a wreck on the Interstate 55 and that made me about 40 minutes behind to my mammogram and also late to my appointment with Dr. Patterson. No blame to anyone for that.But I was handed the information machine which is virtually the same information I have filled out for the past several years. I did have quicker access to my new info due to looking for it the day before on the online site and writing it down in my calendar book. Must have been taking too long because an employee came out and took over the “info machine” and finished within just a few more minutes. Is there not a way to give back the same info we have already filled out year after year and have us just be able to correct and change any new information which probably would only take about 5-10 minutes rather than 30 or 40 minutes that it took me? At the elevator waiting to get on, Dr. Patterson got off, reached for my hand and apologized for not getting to see me for my appointment. I told him I enjoyed meeting his nurse practitioner and I had a good mammogram. Told him all was well!

Dr Patterson is wonderful! He has the best bed-side manner. I would recommend him to anyone.

I can in hurting real bad but after i let doctor Adkins knew what was hurting me and he said let him check.But he did his work and i walked out feeling so good i can say he knows what he's doing.And i will recommend anyone to go there i loved it. Thanks for miss Simmons sending me there.
