Dr Scanlon is a very caring dr. I would recommend him to anyone. He treats you with respect and makes you feel like he will do all he can to help you. If it wasn’t for him I would have lost my husband.

I went to the Merit Health River Oaks ER and they discovered a super rare problem that needed immediate surgical intervention. Of course this means that I didn't get to research or pick my surgeon.
How lucky was I that Dr. Casey Hawes from Lakeland Surgical was the on-call surgeon that night?
Dr. Hawes was an expert at communicating to me in a fashion the kept me calm and collected while explaining exactly what was wrong and what recovery would look like. She also knew exactly how to check on me over the next 6 days and how to answer questions in a way that kept me focused on recovery.
On top of all that, she somehow kept me from having any significant pain despite a 13-inch incision on my stomach.
If you're like me and have no choice in your surgeon, I hope you're lucky enough for Dr. Hawes to be on-call. If you can choose your surgeon, you can't do any better. Highly recommend.

Dr. Jonathan Adkins was brought in as a General Surgeon consultant for my case. Dr. Shane Sims felt confident in bringing him in to remove any scarred tissues from previous surgeries. They made a perfect team in all their efforts. They come highly recommended for your surgery needs.

All that I expected for quality service and answers
